曼晚援引了《太陽報》的消息，據悉，曼聯目前正和熱刺進行商談，紅魔想要以5000萬英鎊的價格引進阿爾德韋雷爾德。阿爾德韋雷爾德在熱刺的未來撲朔迷離，原因在於熱刺方面不願滿足前者的薪資要求。
不過，曼晚的消息顯示，阿爾德韋雷爾德並非穆里尼奧最為看重的人選。曼聯是三家想要簽下維甘小將蓋爾哈特的俱樂部之一，和紅魔展開競爭的其他兩支球隊分別是利物浦和埃弗頓。
除此之外，《太陽報》還報道，曼聯將會在世界盃結束之後和拉什福德展開合同談判。拉什福德和曼聯還有兩年合同在身，但曼聯方面想要和他簽下一份長約。
報道稱，拉什福德的新約周薪有望從8萬英鎊上漲至13萬英鎊。

The report claims Rashford's prospective new contract will see his weekly earnings rise from £80,000 to £130,000.
