— Christo Grozev (@christogrozev) April 13, 2022 根據《每日郵報》的報導，烏克蘭一名媽媽3月10日在臉書上PO文，表示女兒從俄軍入侵後就開始失蹤，在戰況嚴峻的情況下，希望大家能幫她找到女兒，讓母女倆能夠團圓。
沒想到相隔1個月，烏克蘭警察在布查（Bucha）地區找到400多具屍體，且令人悲痛的是，烏克蘭少女也在裡面，讓死者媽媽的朋友悲痛發文寫下「真的很恐怖，我朋友的女兒生前被這樣嘲笑、羞辱，然後還被當垃圾處理，我認識這個孩子多年，還曾經教她英文，她是非常聰明且有才華的女生。」

針對這起事件，烏克蘭國會議員瓦西連科(Lesia Vasylenko)也憤怒在個人推特上轉發相關消息，且強調16歲的少女生前被俄軍性侵，結果還被開槍爆頭，「我們已經在布查找到遺體，她媽媽的尋人計畫也告一段落。」

有關烏克蘭女性遭性侵的消息，俄羅斯官方全盤否認，指出這是烏克蘭和西方國家為了聯合對抗俄國，所捏造出來的不實指控，強調之所以會有這樣的消息，只是烏克蘭單純想阻止俄軍的「特殊軍事行動」。
